Former Yankee player and manager Yogi Berra with Frank Strauss

at Berra's Museum in Montclair, NJ

A graduate of Antioch College, Frank Strauss has spent over fifty years as a journalist and public relations director. Growing up in New York City as a rabid Yankee fan, he now divides his time between New York and Litchfield County, CT.  He is married, has three children and four grandchildren.

His career has included stints as editor of a weekly newspaper in Rockland County, NY, and Director of Communications for the Metropolitan Regional Council.  He also served for 25 years as the Assistant Executive Director and Director of Communications for the Council of Jewish Federations, a national membership organization composed of over 200 local agencies located throughout the United States and Canada.

In his role at the Council, he interacted with many of the world's major leaders including Bill Clinton, Al Gore, and the late Yitzhak Rabin.
